Project Objective and Scope

The project is developed for increasing the overall proficiency of OXFAM for carrying out their non-profitable projects and goals.  They want to expand their reach among people for gaining more support in their good causes by the development of their organization and increase of their capability. The task is produced for expanding the general capability of OXFAM for doing their non-gainful activities and objectives. They need to grow their range among individuals for increasing more help in their great purposes by the improvement of their association and increment of their ability. The purposes of the project of Capacity Development for OXFAM are,

• To increase the operational and human force capacity for the OXAM organization
• To deploy new strategies and system for managing their increased operational scale
• To develop effective project plan for implementing the new system for the development of the operations
• To complete the overall project in the budget of £65000.00 and time duration of four months

The project would comprise of exploiting technology and project management principles for developing improved operations and form the alignment of the system integrated development. The organization of OXFAM would form the system for ensuring their operations and activities are increased. The capability of managing large scale of operations would be increased in OXFAM so that they can expand their area of working and form effective and improved functions. They would consider more non-profitable initiatives and align them to their ongoing agendas. The deployment of the improved system would help in forming the improved services for the people related to OXFAM as the information and data would be managed easily.

The project is carried on by OXFAM for developing more effective and improved operation for the organization. The organization has been planning to expand their operations and form the improved development of operations. However, they require some modification in their existing facility for imparting the improved operations. The project would be carried out in four stages following the Agile Structure. The first stage is initialization that consists of requirement analysis, development of initial documentation, environmental assessment, and SWOT analysis of the capacity development. The second stage is planning that consists of review of the mission statement, strategic issues analysis, plan development, plan review, and plan approval. The third stage is strategy and system development that consists of strategy implementation, conduct external analysis, conduct internal analysis, development of strategies, strategic goals and objectives alignment, action plan development, system implementation, hardware and software consideration, system designing, system prototyping, system development, and system testing. The fourth stage is monitoring, review, and closure that consists of strategy review process, system review process, alterations are done, final documentation, and project is closed.

The OXAM follows the UK guidelines for non-profitable organizations and develop strategies by aligning to the norms and rules. UK has set some specific guidelines that would form the operations for both the non profitable and profitable organizations. The guidelines for the development of the analysis would allow the fictional and non-fictional planning activities for the achievement of the real time objectives of the organization. The deployment of the system would allow the formation of the improved services and the development would form the system integration and management. It is also possible for the management of the sustainable system development.

Project Stages and Guidelines

The PMBOK and Prince2 project management documents serve the purpose of strategy development documents. The Prince2 strategy is aligned for the management of the activities. The Prince2 strategy would be aligned with the development of the improved project management principles and operations. The management of the profound development would integration of the activities. The PMBOK also comprises of many improved and effective operational development methods. The plan development methodology, system deployment alignment, operational management, and risk management planning are all a part of the PMBOK. The Initiation documentation, charter documentation, and risk management documents are all a part of the project documentation.

Information system development and Strategy deployment projects can be useful for forming this project. The development of thee information system would comprise of specific use of the information system development life cycle. The activities of the project would align to the modification of the operations. It is very important for the alignment of the specific modification and alignment of the operations. The information system development and alignment would help in forming the improved functional development. The information system development would help in overcoming the implementation of the activities so that improved operations would be aligned. The following items are out of scope for the project,

• Transportation cost of the materials is not included in this project as the transportation of the materials has been outsourced to an external contractor. The budgeting of the activities has not considered the cost of the transportation. However, the contractor would have the contractor’s expense has been considered in the budget
• Activities of the external contractors are aligned for ensuring that the overall project is completed successfully. The contractors provide external support for project. However, the activities of the project schedule would not consider the development of the operations.
• Communication plan for the project team members is implied for effective and improved functional development. However, initially no project plan is considered and the alignment of the activities is formed for the deployment of the improved functional development.

The association has been intending to extend their operations and frame the enhanced improvement of operations. Be that as it may, they require some change in their current office for bestowing the enhanced operations. The project would be completed in four phases following the Agile Structure. The main stage is instatement that comprises of necessity examination, advancement of starting documentation, natural appraisal, and SWOT investigation of the limit improvement. The second stage is arranging that comprises of audit of the statement of purpose, key issues investigation, design improvement, design survey, and plan endorsement. The deployment of the improved system would help in forming the improved services for the people related to OXFAM as the information and data would be managed easily.
