The development of technology has provided certain benefits in the business organizations.  According to Wu, Straub and Liang (2015),with the deployment of the advanced technology the efficiency and the quality of the products have been enhanced  significantly. There are various factors those are responsible for the advancement of the  technologies and the methodologies in the business organizations. The changing trend of the business market and the growing competitions in the industry  are forcing the business organization to improve the existing technology in the organization. Apart  from that the use of emerging technology helps to increase the productivity of the organizations. Moreover , the use of technology is applied by the business organizations for the marketing and the expansion of the business purpose. The methodology of using the technology has opened user interfaces. This has helped to increase the connectivity between the organizations and the users.  It can be said that the business organizations has gained certain benefits from the advanced use of technologies through the deployment from different points of view. The  main objective of this paper is to evaluate the changes in the technology  over the past years and the methods of deployment s the organizations have used for the improvisation. Apart from that the forces those were responsible for the changes  and the advancement in the technology have been discussed in this paper.

Digital data are referred to the information or data stored and collected through the electronic medium. With the increased adaptation of the digitization the amount of the digital data has been increased. The business organizations are choosing the digitization for the functioning  of the daily business over the manual process of handling the data (Coltman et al.,2015). In this context the managing of the digital information has become a significant concern for Amazon.  The advanced technology are needed to manage the editing and the storage of the digital data. Moreover, the rules of using the digital data are needed to be maintained properly in the organization.   Some of the positive impact of the digital data in the organizations are-

Managing of the data: The data stored  in the digital system of Amazon are easy to manage. According to Alenezi, Tarhini and  Sharma ( 2015), the implementation of the technology will help to create  a digital platform where the consumers can interact with the organization  directly. In this course, the  consumer data can be collected and stored digitally. Apart from that the accessibility of the sensitive data can be managed through the implementation of the username and password. The information or the data available in digital platform can be accessed at any time of the day. The storage of  data in digital platform increases the scalability and transparency of the information.

Security: Storage of data in digital platform ensures the security of the data. The security of the accessibility of the data can be maintained through the implementation of the username and password. Lin (2014), states that different security protocols can be implemented in order to ensure the overall security of the information and network. In order to do this the application of the firewall and VPN can be done (Lin,2014).  This will prevent the unnecessary traffics to intrude into the  secured network system of the organizations.

Improvement of the marketing: The implementation of the digitization and the implementation of the emerging technologies in the Amazon have improved the business strategy for conducting the business in e-commerce.  Digital media is taking a significant role for the promotion of the products and services of Amazon. According to Suresh and Gupta (2018),with the increased use of technology in the business organizations and the use of social media have improved the way of communication for the organizations. Amazon can showcase new offers and the products launched by them through the social media like Facebook. Moreover, the use of GoogleAd is also helping Amazon to promote different products to consumers. Apart from that analysis, the information gathered through the big data can  indicate the dynamic behavior of the consumer choices. Analysis of the changes in the demand of the customer can help to modify and improvise the products and services of the consumers.

Increase of the efficiency: Use of advanced digital technology has helped the Amazon to increase the efficiency of the daily functioning of organization over past 30 years. The automation process helps to improve the workings of the  supply chain and logistic operations in the organizations (Rosemann & vom Brocke, 2015). Apart from that the  immense use of digital technology has helped Amazon to customize the services along with the products. The growing business of  this e-commerce giant indicates the change in the business process of the organizations in the digital era.

It can be said that the use of the digital technology has positive impacts on the business organizations as it enhances the security and scalability of the business. However, there are certain challenges that may have negative impacts on the organizations. The information in the digital platforms  are needed to be  secured from the breaching. According to Xiang, Magnini and Fesenmaier, (2015), in case, if the breaching of the information  occurs  both the organizations and  the users can face problem. Apart from that the solving of the technical problems needs more technical experts. In some cases,  the implementation of the digital technology may become expensive for the organizations. Proper training is needed to be provided to the employees so that they can operate the advanced digital system. The arrangement of the training can  increase the overhead cost for the organizations. These are some of the problems organizations face during the implementation and the use of digital technology(Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017).It is recommended  for the organizations to mitigate the  negative impact of digital technology on the functioning of the business processes. Amazon provides cloud technology to the other companies. In that case, the organization is responsible for the security of stored data in the cloud. However, major cases of data breaches of Amazon AWS  has been reported over the years, which were not desirable.

There are certain factors those  are responsible for the changes  in ways to use the information  in the organization (Xiang,  Magnini & Fesenmaier, 2015). The factors those are responsible to bring the changes in the deployment method of technology in the business are technological, social and economic. However, different factors has certain intensity to bring the change in the use of technology.

Social factors:  Social factors are important drivers for the change in the implementation of the information technology in the organization. Earlier the information required to manage Amazon were less complicated and can be managed through the manual process. However, with the increase of competition in the market and the growing demand of the consumers regarding the products and the services, it has become important for Amazon to improve the productivity and the availability of the service (Bloom et al.,2014). Apart from that the changing demand and the buying behavior of the consumers are driving Amazon to improve the quality and the variety of  the services and the products. The implementation of the information technology and the trend of  digitization are the result of these social factors.  Chae, Koh and Prybutok (2014), describes the strategic use of the social media and reaching to the target consumers can be done through the information technology. Apart from that  the behavior of the consumers and the market research can be done through the technology driven by big data and data analytics.

Economic factors: Economic factor is one of the important factors for driving the organizations towards the use of digital technology in the business organizations. Trainor et al., (2014), describes earlier the functioning of the business in the organization were  dependent  mainly on the manual process. There were chances of the mistakes in the manual process. Apart from that the whole process was time consuming and complex to manage (Wamba et al.,2015). In this situation the implementation of the  automation in the process saves time  for the organization (Wagner,  Beimborn & Weitzel,2014). Use of information technology in Amazon helps this business organization to operate efficiently, along with minimization of the overhead cost for operating. The use and the innovation through the technology have helped Amazon to achieve the higher revenue in terms of business. Apart from that the use of the information technology in the organization is also helping to mitigate the overhead cost for operating. Overall, it can be said that the digital technology is helping Amazon to get the economic solutions.

Technological factors: Technological factors  can be considered as the drivers for the organizations to adopt the use of digital technology  and advanced information technology systems in the business. The use of the emerging technologies have made the functioning of the business process easier. Use of technology has provided better data security and information management  policies for Amazon.  Moreover, Amazon is using the emerging technologies in order to increase the efficiency of the production and services. This is helping Amazon to present the service in more effective way.  The innovation is creating the competitive market environment. In order to hold a stable position in the market, organizations are adopting digital disruptions.

Information system has certain importance in the expansion of the business for the  organizations. With the application of the information technology , the companies can achieve the required standards for serving the products to the consumers.  In order to maintain the business in an efficient way the communication between the business unit and the technical unit is needed to be done (Tayeh, Al-Jarrah & Tarhini, 2015). The use of the emerging technology has helped to gain this flow of communication. Apart from that the use of technology has secured the confidentiality of the data and information stored in the system(Gurung & Prater,2017). Moon,  Choi and Armstron (2018), states the importance of communication between the users and the organization which has made easy through the use of the information technology .The users can interact with the organization and the system through online platform. Many business organizations are adopting the use of the information technology and the advanced digital innovations in the operations and logistic purpose (Safa et al.,2015. The automation  in the logistic process  has helped the organizations to get better results. Apart from that the use of artificial intelligence has helped the business organizations in the marketing. The use of the big data, and the logical analysis of the data has helped the companies to know about the requirements of the consumers  and the market trend (Piotrowicz & Cuthbertson, 2014). On the basis of the gathered data , the companies can improvise the products and services. Apart from that  with the use of the information technology the business  organizations are customizing the products and services on the basis of the requirements of the consumers. This improves the quality of services provided by the organization.

With the help of the information technology the Amazon can manage data more effectively. In the manual process of managing the data, there is a chance of error. However, the use of the information technology helps to mitigate the chances of error. This increase the correctness and the reliability of the data. The  flow of communication between the organization can be improved through the maximization of the correctness of the information.  According to Coltman et al.,(2015),this increases the efficiency of the organizational functionalities The use of the information technology can provide better technique of data storing and security for the data.   Amazon is using cloud computing for  data storing. The use of cloud allows the organization to store large amount of data. Apart from that the maintenance cost of the equipments for storing data can be minimized with the use of the cloud computing. Amazon can choosing among the various deployment of the cloud. The use of the cloud computing also enhances the security and availability of the data. The access of the content can be customized with the help of the technology. Biometric system helps in the authentication and authorization process. Apart from that the use of the username and password can be beneficial for  controlling the access of the information in the organization.

These security facilities helps to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of the information in the organization. According to Wu, Straub and Liang (2015),over past 30 years the trend in marketing has been changed.  The use of the social media for promotion of the products has helped different Amazon to reach to the large base of consumers.Apart from that  digital technology also increase the connectivity of the Amazon  with the consumers. In  this  situation the business Amazon can identify the dynamic nature of the requirements of the consumers. It can be said  that the use of technology has enhanced both technical and business growth in the organization.

 However, Amazon has faced certain problems due to the use of digital technology.  The breaching of the security  of the data can cause problems for the Amazon. Apart from that the company has to maintain  some rules and ethics during the implementation of the information technology driven system  in the companies (Chae, Koh & Prybutok, 2014). There is no transparent rules for the violation of the ethical code in the context of using information technology.

It can be said that the use of the technology in the organization has certain positive impacts on  Amazon. However, there are some problems and challenges with the implementation of the digital disruption in the organization. Proper management of the implementation project along with effective monitoring can mitigate these problems regarding digital disruption.

 Amazon is also using the digital technology for reaching to the citizens. Mishra, Akman and Mishra (2014), points out  that many government services are opening e-portal , from where the citizens can access the services provided to them. This increase the efficiency of the workings of the government. Apart from that  most of the commercial organizations are adopting the use of e-business policy from Amazon. The growing market of e-commerce indicates the success of the implementing information technology in the business organization.

The discussion is regarding the use and the impact of the digital technology in the business organization. The discussion has described us of digital technology and its  impact on the changing environment of the business. In this context it can be said that the impact of the digital technology on the business Amazon has positive impacts as it has helped the Amazon to improve the way of doing business. The use of the information technology has helped to improve the consumer service and the effectiveness of the products. Apart from that it also improves the marketing and the promotion the business. Different use of the information technology has been discussed those are deployed by the business Amazon for the expansion of the business in the organization. This indicates the  changing trend of the business functionalities in the business Amazon. It can be said the  impact of the technology is positive , however, for the proper implementation maintenance and proper monitoring is required for the digital disruption.
