This report depicts the business importance of implementing mobile application in a nominated Sydney based retail store named ElectroEmpire. The retail store is known for its service and quality products. The company operated through 3 different stores. The stores are also located in Sydney. In order to expand the business allover Australia, the retail company has decided to contract a locally based mobile app development company to design a mobile application. Based on the current scenario, it is determined that the company has huge customer based and they face lots of trouble due to rapidly increasing numbers of customers. With this fully functional mobile app, the company would be able to manage the customers more professionally. In fact, the company will be able to enhance its business efficacy.

 The business report developed for ElectroEmpire is supported by defining the issues, anticipated outcomes, recommendation, justification, Business Case Analysis Tram, problem definition, problem statement, organizational impact, technology migration, milestones, and cost benefit analysis. These areas are analyzed during the business report presented to define the feasibility of the project.

The numbers of customers of the company are increasing dramatically due to their amazing customers focused service and quality of products. However, the company does not have any online product selling options. People who are interested to buy products, are require to visit to the showrooms to select and buy. Sometime they need to stand on queues and wait for longer time buy their desired products. The operation process is must time consuming and costly as well. In fact, the possibilities of error occurrences are also very high.

The customers need to visit the outlets for specified time period and buy the products. event if any query occurs in their mind, they are not being able to sort out their queries from anyone.

Based on the current company scenario, the mobile app implementation project is proposed. The proposed solution is completely justified because it helps to make the business process quicker and efficient. It will ensure that, all personalized contents are there inside the app. A successful mobile app gives instant online and offline access. Through this app the customers will be able to get push notifications and instant updates. For improved branding and designing, mobile app implementation is the most justified solution. The proposal is justified because the company will get 20% ROI by coming year. The problems with overhead cost will be diminished by 10%. The total numbers of customer will also increase by 35%

The numbers of customers were started increasing rapidly allover Sydney. The company was getting to handle those customers quickly. The process was getting delayed and the rate of error occurrences was also dramatically increasing. Due to inadequate numbers of staffs, the company was unable to serve frequently to all the customers.  The company has a web application but due to poor navigation and un-friendly user interface, people never shown their interest to buy products from the company through online platform. Due to heavy customer’s traffic, the degree of error occurrences was also increasing rapidly for the company.

The company is facing issues to directly communicate to the customers

Customers are the most vital and important assets for project. In order to gain commercial benefits and for long term sustainable growth, it is vital to have a strong relationship with the customers. Inadequate communication lead towards unmet customer’s expectations. If the customers are found not connected to the company services and products then automatically, the economic growth of the company will start declining. The identified problem can lead the company towards losing the existing customers. 

The mobile app expected to be designed for android users only for now. The Iphone users will not be able to use the app for booking and buying their desired products. The technologies incorporated to the upcoming system include- 

The project will be developed followed by 5 stages

Stage 1- The business case will be developed and the charter will be shared to the sponsor for approval.

Stage 2- The hardware and software will be purchased in this stage

Stage 3- Android based platform will be created with easy navigation, clear UI and secure payment opportunities

Stage 4- The app will be tested in this stage followed by system testing, security testing and functional testing

Stage 5- The app will be launched in this stage

The nominated project is “implementation of a mobile app for ElectroEmpire. The retail company is not a manufacturer. The company sales products of other international electronic companies like Samsung, Hitachi, Microsoft, Godrej etc. The company also takes care of the product’s services.

The project is planned to be implemented for the ElectroEmpire electronic product selling company. The objective of the project is to improve business efficacy and gain long term sustainability in the competitive market by implementing a mobile app. Once The app will be developed, the customers will feel free to check and buy their desired products anytime and from any location. The customers will be able to ask their queries anytime and share their feedback on the products and services. From the product rating they will be able to take easy decisions on which product to buy. Using this mobile app, the customers can buy desired products, book products and even track their orders as well. The technical details for the android app considered include-

The assumptions considered for the project are as follows- 

• The project resources must have adequate knowledge and skills regarding android app development
• The resources to be appointed for the project will be properly utilized
• The app will be secured enough and keep all financial information of the clients secure
• It is also assumed that, the app will have easy navigation
• The project manager will support all the staffs towards a single goal
• The mobile app is expected will be developed within estimated budget and time 

Triple constraints considered for the project are time, scope and cost. The scope of the project is to design and execute the mobile app with all mandatory features and responsive functions. The time estimated for completion of the project is 4 months. The total budget estimated for the project is $60,000.
