7 Elements of Negotiation

The following assignment is developed for understanding the negotiation factors for the project of implying with the useful project analysis. The negotiation and development would be effectively involved with the simplification and management of the factors for processing (Wertheim 2015). The study of the seven elements of talk for the project of Forrest Kerr Hydroelectric and it would be helpful for the development of the innovative and effective factors for growth. The use of negotiation would help in ensuring that the project criteria are met, and no specific modulation is achieved. The seven elements of negotiation would be more helpful for making the allocation management for the operations.

The negotiation is a crucial factor for the identification of the dread discussion and alignment of active modulation development (Riskin 2017). The project requires effective negotiation so that both the parties (owner and contractor) can agree to a fixed term for calculating the composition of the innovative operations. The project of Forrest Kerr Hydroelectric was taken by Altagas Ltd, Cornhill, and Federal Government for ensuring that the rendering of the renewable resource of energy, water can be synthesised by developing the comprehensive construction tools. The mines would get the required amount of energy with the help of the run-of-river project for generating hydroelectric power at North-western British Council. The following section would help in analysing the project regarding the seven elements of negotiation,

Altagas Ltd used both verbal and written methods of communication for negotiating with the BC hydro, Tahltan people, and government. The effective communication was needed for ensuring that effective communication can be achieved. The main reason for discussion was to be able to convey the needs and benefits of the project to the other parties (Adam and Brett 2015). After many faces to face conversations, phone talks, and emails, Cornhill was able to convince the BC hydro for buying the extra energy generated from the project. Many discussions were also done for ensuring that the Tahltan government would build the transmission line from Forrest Kerr site to the transmission line of BC Hydro (350 km away).

Aarssen of Cornhill went to meet the Brian Hansen of Ministry of energy, mines, and petroleum resources in the province of British Columbia. Hansen was connected to BC Hydro and BC Transmission, and hence it helped Aarssen for getting proper information connection with the improved communication. The relationship was established for developing the understanding of the requirements for both the parties (Abbasi, Gul and Senin 2017). Aarssen had required the information alignment and utilisation of the successful information development. He laid out all the likely financial returns to Hansen for making him understand the expectations from the project. Federal Government and Tahltan had developed a relationship after spending social time among the group discussing their social life experiences, families, and building friendship.

1. Communication

Aarssen of Cornhill had two primary benefits from the project, and they were implied with the management of the successive development model. The information alignment would be successful for aligning the needs of the Altagas Ltd and generate the hydroelectricity from the river bay. The relevance of the activities had been aligned with the utilisation and development of successive information management. The main interests of Cornhill and Altagas Ltd were,

Completion of the Forrest Kerr project: The end of the Forrest Kerr project would be effectively deployed for ensuring that the Federal Government. The hydroelectric power generation would be the primary option for the project. The nearby mines and households would get the benefit of the renewable energy resources.

Contract with BC Hydro: The development of the agreement with the BC hydro was done by the implication and management of the activities. The BC hydro would get the benefit of the renewable power resources. The Federal Government would get the benefit of returns for the capital invested in the project.

Construction of Transmission lines: The transmission lines would be responsible for transmitting the energy to the 350 Km away BC hydro transmission line centre. Both of Altagas Ltd and BC hydro would be benefitted by the laying of the transmission lines.

The Federal Government would select the option for making a contract with BC Hydro for getting the return of capital benefit and implication of the continuous management process. The possibilities for the organisation was to ensure that the practical implication and management process would be developed for integrating the negotiation between the organisations for taking care of the successful integration and management. The contract development was based on the factors of integrating the alignment and modification works. The limitation of the information development would be implied with the innovative technology for developing successful management and innovation.

The other options would be implied with the alignment of the successful production management the implication would be aligned with the continuation and management and successful completion of the activities (Borbely et al. 2017). The successful listing of the probable project completion would be impacted by the active management. The options for the organisation was to ensure that the practical implication and management process would be developed for integrating the negotiation between the organisations for taking care of the successful integration and management. The alternatives for the talks are,

•    Altagas Ltd would have to back down from the project unless the BC Hydro signs the contract of buying the remaining energy generated from the Forrest Kerr Project
•    BC Hydro would not sign the agreement unless Cornhill got the transmission lines built for transferring the power to the power line centre of BC Hydro
•    Tahltan government officials would be responsible for approving the construction of the transmission lines for the BC Hydro and Cornhill

2. Relationship

The first negotiation of Contract with BC Hydro has the responsibility made between the two parties of Altagas Ltd and BC hydro for generation of the hydroelectric power so that the nearby mines and households can get the benefit of renewable energy resources. The second negotiation of Construction of Transmission lines has the commitment made between the two parties of Cornhill and Tahltan for constructing the transmission lines for transmitting the energy to the 350 Km away BC hydro transmission line centre. The third negotiation of Completion of the Forrest Kerr project commits the two parties of Government Officials and Federal Government for constructing the transmission line.

Conclusion

It can be concluded from the assignment that the implication of the innovation management would be effectively managed with the continuation of the processes for the negotiation and contract development. The control of the talks had been effectively implied with the use of effective implication management. The method of the seven elements of negotiation had been indicated with the utilisation and development. The contract development was based on innovative technology for developing successful management and innovation.
